Jim has been coaching fastpitch pitchers since 2001 focusing on sound, fundamental technique for beginners as well as advanced pitchers. Jim's philosophy is that if all the great college, pro and Olympic pitchers do a particular thing, he teaches that from the very first lesson. If there is something none of the great pitchers do that becomes off limits. If there is a diversity of technique for something, he tries to find what works best for each student.

The students Jim has helped learn basic technique have gone on to accomplish many great things. While each of these students has used additional coaches as they got older, the firm foundation for great fundamental technique has helped them accomplish these fabulous things.
